The p-Code Machine

In the past I was sort of annoyed that there was no single standard on how to write a curriculum vitae. Though in the past week I’ve learned better. Apparently the European Union defined a standard curriculum vitae which they call a Europass. And it gets even better, they even have a decent web based Europass generator which outputs to Microsoft Word, OpenOffice.org Writer, Adobe PDF, HTML and XML. The cool part is that the XML file allows you to store your curriculum vitae locally and upload and modify it at a later date, without having to fill in all the blanks again.
